Xiaomi Meri/ Mi 5c surfaces in renders along with price tag
Xiaomi's upcoming budget smartphone codenamed Meri, which will reportedly launch as Mi 5c has been in the news for the past couple of days. We have already seen the live photos of the device, and now a new render, along with pricing of Mi 5c has surfaced.
The render are in line with the previously leaked live images, which shows Xiaomi Mi 5-likie design with metal unobody design, thin bezels at the side, home button flanked by two capacitive keys and a flat back panel.
It will reportedly ship with Xiaomi's in-house 'Pine Cone' processor, 5.1-inch 2.5D display, 3GB RAM, 64GB storage, 13MP main camera, fingerprint scanner (embedded into the home button) and run MIUI 8 based Android Marshmallow. The rumored pricing of Mi 5c is CNY 999 ($145| Rs. 10,000) and the official launch is tipped for December 12.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c will be a variant of Mi 5, which also includes the top-end Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus.

Xiaomi Mi 5c powered by a octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Meri Mi 5c phone is rumoured to be priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 14,800).
