Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 gets Rs. 1,000 permanent price cut in India


The Redmi Note 4 is one of Xiaomi's most popular and best selling budget smartphone, with sales hitting over millions.

The Redmi Note 4 was launched in India back in January this year, and offered features like 5.5-inch Full HD display, octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, 13MP/5MP cameras, 4G VoLTE, hybrid dual-SIM slots, fingerprint scanner and 4100mAh battery. It runs MIUI 8, but is upgradable to MIUI 9.

It arrived in three RAM/storage variants: 2GB/32GB priced at Rs. 9999, 3GB/32GB priced Rs. 10999 and 4GB/64GB priced Rs. 12999.

Having said that, Xiaomi has announced a permanent Rs. 1,000 price drop on Redmi Note 4 for the 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB model.

After applying the price cut, the 3GB/32GB Redmi Note 4 now costs Rs. 9,999, and the 4GB/64GB model costs Rs. 11,999. At the reduced price, they are available at Mi.com and Flipkart.
