MIUI 9 global roll out begins; Here's the features and list of eligible devices
Earlier today, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite in India. In addition, the China based device maker also announced roll out details of MIUI 9 stable ROM for existing devices as well as the new Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite.
Xiaomi said that MIUI 9 will start rolling out to select devices including Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 4X and Mi Max 2 starting November 3. The update will roll out over-the-air and when it is available for your Xiaomi device, you'll be notified, or else, you can go the "Updater app" and check for the update.

Xiaomi claims that MIUI 9 is lightening fast, and its performance in now almost in par with Stock Android, when it comes to launching apps and split screen. Mentioned below are the highlights of the MIUI 9 Global stable ROM.
