Last month HMD launched Nokia phone beta labs, under which selected users got the opportunity to beta test Android Oreo for Nokia 8. Now it appears that the official stable Oreo build is ready for release.

HMD CPO Juho Sarvikas took to Twitter to announce that HMD has completed beta testing Android Oreo for Nokia 8, and an official roll out will begin soon. Sadly an exact roll out time frame was not revealed.

Next we can expect HMD to kick off Oreo beta testing for Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 7 and Nokia 6.

As a reminder, Android Oreo brings new features like Picture-in-Picture (PiP), notification channels,adaptive icons, circular dot, along with bug fixes, security improvement and enhancements to improve the device's performance.
