Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018), Galaxy A7 (2018) renders leaked, to flaunt near bezel-less design


Samsung's upper mid-range Galaxy A line is known for bringing design aesthetics of the premium Galaxy S line up at a budget. Last year, the Galaxy S7's new features like water resistance and Always On Display were introduced in the Galaxy A (2017) line up. And this time there will be no changes. The Galaxy A (2018) series are said to borrow the near-bezel design of the Galaxy S8 series.

The details were shared by OnLeaks, who has collaborated with MySmartPrice to release CAD based renders of Galaxy A (2018) line up (only two models).

Similar to last year, this years Galaxy A (2018) line up will include three models: Galaxy A3, A5 and A7, and they will  sport metal and glass body with near bezel-less design and feature Full HD+ Infinity 18:9 display. The Galaxy A5 (2018) will have 5.5-inch screen and a thickness of 8.4mm, whereas the Galaxy A7 (2018) will flaunt 6-inch screen and measure 8.2mm around the waist. Due to Infinity Display, the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the back.



The Galaxy A (2018) line will reportedly be equipped with Samsung's Exynos 7885 chip/Snapdragon 660 chip depending on the market and come with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. They also appear to have dual-front facing camera, which is firt time on a Samsung phone, while at the back, there's a single camera. However, there is no dedicated Bixby button.

The phones will also boast features like Always On Display, IP68 water and dust resistance certification, Samsung Pay and USB Type-C port. They Galaxy A (2018) line up will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Samsung Experience UI on top.

That said, according to previous report, the Galaxy A (2018) line up will cost higher than its predecessor due to the use of Infinity display. Samsung usually unveils the Galaxy A line up in December-January, and this time also we can expect the same.
