Samsung's Bixby to make tablet debut with Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)

Samsung's voice-enabled assistant Bixby is currently featured in a handful of company's smartphone like the Galaxy S8/S8+, Galaxy Note8 and Galaxy Note Fan Edition. Now it appears that Bixby will be making its way to company's tablet line up as well.

A leaked manual of the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2017 (recently certified by TENAA) has a page dedicated to Bixby. As per the manual its functionality will be limited to Bixby Home only. This means Bixby Voice and Bixby vision will be not be available. Bixby Home is much like Google Home and offers a stream of information cards like smart reminders, Facebook messages, alarm control, calendar widget, suggested content for YouTube and more.

The user manual also confirms 4G LTE version of the tablet. Speaking of the specs, According to TENAA, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) will come with 8-inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 427 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage versions, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 5000mAh battery. It will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
