Reliance Jio launches new Rs. 399 plan with 84 days validity, old plans revised too


Relinace Jio's Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, that was introduced back in April is coming to an end at the end of this month. And now the emerging teleco has introduced new plans for its prepaid and postpaid users. It has also increased validity and data benefits on the existing plans as well. As promise these plans will offer unlimited voice calls, free SMSes and access to Jio's suite of apps.

Jio has revised its earlier Rs. 309, Rs. 349  and Rs. 509 plan's validity from 84 days to 56 days. The Rs. 309 and Rs. 509 plan will offer 1GB and 2GB data per day respectively, while the 349 plan offers a total 20GB of data during the validity period. After exhausting the usage, the speed falls to 128kbps.


It also launched a new Rs. 399 plan that will offer 1GB date per days for 84 days to prepaid users, and 90 days for postpaid users. This is same as the earlier Rs. 309 plan.

The expensive prepaid plans of Rs. 999, Rs. 1,999, Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 9,999 have also been revised with increased data benefits and validity. The Rs. 999 plan now has 90 day validity and offers 90GB data (1GB per day), the Rs. 1,999 has 120 days validity and offers 155GB, Rs. 4999 plans gets 380GB data and 210 day validity, and the Rs. 9,999 plans offer 780GB data, and the validity is for 390 days.


Jio's new post paid plans are priced at Rs. 309, Rs. 349, Rs. 399, Rs. 509 and Rs. 999. They come with up to three months validity and up to 120GB data.

It's worth mentioning that the new and revised plans are for Jio Prime users. Non-Jio users can avail these new plans by paying Rs. 99 for the Prime membership.
