Moto X4 with Snapdragon 630, 3GB RAM spotted on GFXbench

Earlier this month, render and possible specs of Moto X4 were revealed courtesy of Evan Blass. Now the Moto device with model number XT1789 claimed to be the Moto X4 has been spotted on GFXBench, confirming some of the earlier revealed specs.

The Moto X4 listed on GFXBench features 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. This might be the base version, as previous report has claimed the device will pack 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Also earlier it was said that Moto X4 will sport 5.2-inch Full HD display, but the model listed on GFXBench has 5-inch screen. This is most likely to be a mistake, as benchmarks often get the screen size wrong.

As for the other specs, the Moto X4 is expected to come with Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform, 12MP+8MP dual rear cameras, 16MP front camera, NFC and 3000mAh battery. It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Other notable features of Moto X4 are metal and glass design for a premium look, slim bezels, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, selfie flash, fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm audio jack. For the US market, the Moto X4 will be capable of operating on Google's Fi MVNO, meaning it will be able to switch seamlessly between Sprint, T-Mobile and US cellular wide area networks for the best possible signal.

The Moto X4 is rumored to be unveiled alongside Moto Z2 Force at an event in New York on July 25.
