Huawei Enjoy 7 with Snapdragon 425, 3GB RAM, 13MP camera announced


Huawei back in April released the Enjoy 7 Plus, and today it announced its younger-sibling the Enjoy 7 in home market of China, with new design and toned down specs.

The first thing you'll notice is the unique camera design at the back, that will get you confused, that it has dual-camera. It is aligned horizontal at the at the top left corner just like Apple's iPhone 7 Plus/Oppo R11/OnePlus 5. However, the horizontal setup includes a single camera and flash module. 



The Enjoy 7 comes with 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by Snapdragon 425 Mobile Platform. It will be offered in two variants: 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded via microSD card (128GB).

The camera department includes 13MP rear camera with an LED flash, PDAF, and functions like slow motion, HDR, voice shutter, self-timer and more. For selfies, there's 5MP shooter on the front.

Running Android Nougat based EMUI 5.1, the device supports 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, dual-SIMs and GPS for connectivity. A 3200mAh battery runs the show that promises up to 14 hours of video playback or up to 12 hours of internet browsing.



It sports a metal unibody design, with a thickness of 8.05mm and weighs 145g. The color options include Black, Red, Blue, Streamer Gold, Champagne Gold and Pink. There's also a rear mounted fingerprint scanner as well.

The Huawei Enjoy 7 2GB RAM/16GB storage version has been priced at CNY 899 ($132), while the higher version with 3GB RAM/32GB storage will cost CNY 1099 ($161). It will be available starting July 15 in China through Vmall and other authorized dealers.
