Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, Galaxy J7 Pro with Nougat, Samsung Pay launched in India


Samsung has launched two new mid-range smartphones in India dubbed the Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max. The new Galaxy J series phones run Android Nougat out of the box, and supports Samsung Pay. The Galaxy J7 Pro gets full support for Samsung Pay, while the Galaxy J7 Max is the first to feature Samsung Pay Mini. Both sport metal unibody design, fingerprint scanner, selfie flash, and Smart Glow 2.0 (only Galaxy J7 Max) on the back.


The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro features 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor backed by Mali T830 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 64GB, which is expandable via microSD card. It is backed by 3600mAh battery, while the camera department is handled by 13MP f/1.7 rear camera and 13MP f/1.9 selfie camera.


The Galaxy J7 Max has 5.7-inch Full HD IPS display, and is equipped with 1.6GB MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core chip, 4GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, 13MP front (f/1.9) and rear (f/1.7) camera and 3300mAh battery.

Both have dual-SIM slots, and support 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/gn, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS for connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max have been priced at Rs. 20,900 and Rs. 17,900 respectively and comes in Black and Gold hues. The Galaxy J7 Max will go sale first starting June 20, while the Galaxy J7 Pro will hit the shelves in mid-july. Launch offers include a cashback of up to Rs 800 with payments made through Paytm & UPI using Samsung Pay and 120GB of extra 4G data to Jio users.
