LG X500 with 32GB storage, 4800mAh battery announced


LG has announced a new variant of its battery-centric X power2, which went on sale globally last month, with double the storage capacity.

Dubbed X500, it comes with 32GB of internal storage instead of 16GB, and is announced for LG's home market of China. Apart from the upgraded storage, everything else is the same including the specs sheet and design.

Like the X power2, the main highlight of X500 is its beefy 4500mAh battery, which according to LG provides up to 20 hours of continuous video playback in single charge. . It supports fast charging, and promise a charge of up to 50 percent  in one hour and full charge in two hours.

As for the other specs, the LG X500 has 5.5-inch HD display, octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chip, 2GB RAM, 13MP/5MP cameras, 4G LTE and NFC. It includes separate slots for microSD card & dual-SIMs and runs Android Nougat out of the box.

Priced at 319,000 won ($285 | Rs. 18,000), the LG X500 will be available in South Kore starting June 9 in Navy and Gold hues.
