Oppo released the selfie-cenrtic F3 Plus with dual front cameras in India back in March. Today, the Chinese smartphone maker has launched a toned down version of the device called Oppo F3.

Like the F3 Plus, the new Oppo F3 is also a selfie oriented smartphone with dual camera system at its front comprising of 16MP and 8MP sensors. The 16MP f/2.0 sensor is for taking your regular selfies, and the secondary 8MP sensor features 120-degree wide-angle lens for capturing group selfies.

The Oppo F3 has a 5.5-inch Full HD display (vs. 6-inch on F3 Plus) and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor (vs. F3 Plus's Snapdragon 653 chip) with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).

At the back, the Oppo F3 gets a 13MP camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. Connectivity duties are handled by dual-SIM slots, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based Color OS 3.0 and is fuled by 3200mAH battery (vs. F3 Plus' 4000mAh). There's also a fingerint sensor baked into the home button to lock/unlock the device, that even works when your fingers are moist.

The Oppo F3 is priced at Rs. 19,990, and is available for pre-order online exclusively from Flipkart, as well as offline stores starting today till May 12, and will go on sale May 13.
