Oppo F3 Black Edition launched in India for Rs. 19,999

Oppo is launching a new Black color variant of the selfie-centric Oppo F3. When it was launched earlier this month, it was offered in only Gold color. The new Black Edition Oppo F3 will carry the same price tag as the Gold color at Rs. 19,999, and will be available exclusively through Flipkart starting June 4.

Also just in time for the upcoming Champions Trophy, Oppo also released a limited black version of Oppo F3 with BCCI logo at the rear, highlighting Oppo's official sponsorship of the Indian cricket team. This version will be auctioned on June 3, one day before India vs. Pakistan match (June 4).

Apart from the new color, the specifications will remain the same. The Oppo F3 Black Edition will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM slots, fingerprint scanner and 3200mAh battery.

The main highlight of the phone is its selfie camera. The Oppo F3 has dual selfie camera including a 16MP f/2.0 unit for the regular selfies, and 8MP secondary camera with 120-degree wide angle lens for group selfies. On the back it gets 13MP f/2.2 PDAF camera with dual-tone LED flash and 1/3-inch sensor.

The device runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based ColorOS 3.0.

Back in April, Oppo also launched Black color version of the 6-inch Oppo F3 Plus as well.
