Entry-level Micromax Bharat 2 launched for Rs. 3,499

After the dual-camera totting Qiku 360 Q5 better known as the Dual 5, Micromax is launching a new range of smartphones dubbed Bharat. The first phone under the Bharat line-up is the Bharat 2.

Just like Swipe's recently launched Konnect Neo 4G, Micromax's Bharat 2 is a dual-SIM VoLTE enable phone running Android Marshmallow. Also it offers almost similar specs or lower compared to Swipe's Konnect Neo 4G, but is priced Rs. 600 higher.

The Bharat 2 comes with a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage, with expandable storage support via microSD card. The camera department includes 2MP rear camera LED flash and 0.3MP VGA front facing camera. It is fueled by 1300mAh battery and supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity.

The Micromax Bharat 2 is priced at Rs. 3,750, but is available at a best buy price of Rs. 3,499 via major retail stores across the country.
