Super Mario Run now available on Android, iOS version gets new contents

Nintendo's Super Mario Run has finally made its way to Android platform. The game is now available for download from Play Store in most countries including India.

To refresh your memory, Super Mario Run is an endless runner game that can be played with just one hand. In the game you have to guide Mario through levels to rescue princess Peach from the villain, Bowser's clutches. It includes three game modes ― World Tour, Toad Rally and Kingdom Builder.

Super Mario Run's arrival on Android also marks the release of the 2.0 update, which is also available for the iOS platform, with new playable characters (Yoshis in Green, Red, Blue, Yellow and Purple), and buildings. You can also play Toad Rally with a Yoshi of a particular color to collect more toads of that color.

Also if a player completes one of Bowser's challenge in the free version of Super Mario Run, they can unlock World 1-4 (previously 1-3).

Like the iOS version, Super Mario Run on Android is free to download, but you get access to only the first three levels (plus one unlockable). To unlock the full game you have to make a single in-app purchase of $9.99 or Rs 620.
