Oppo F3 Plus dual-selfie camera phone launched at Rs. 30,990


Oppo has launched its new selfie-centric F3 Plus smartphone boasting dual selfie camera in India. It is also the company's first smartphone to feature two selfie cameras, one a 16MP f/2.0 lens for the regular shots, and a secondary 8MP camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens to help you fit in more people for a group shot.

The main camera at the rear is a 16MP f/1.7 Sony IMX398 lens with dual-tone LED flash. The main camera features Dual Focus PDAF, OIS, 1/2.8-inch sensor which was developed by Sony exclusively for Oppo and can record 4K videos.

As far as other specs are concerned, the Oppo F3 Plus features a large 6-inch Full HD display protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The performance is handled by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 chip bakced by Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB RAM. Storage on-board is 64GB, which can be expanded via microSD card.

In terms of connectivity, the F3 Plus supports hybrid dual-SIM slot, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. A 4000mAh battery runs the show, supported by VOOC Flash Charge fast charging technology, that promises 2 hours of talk time in 5 minutes of charging.. It runs Android Marshmallow based ColorOS 3.0 and has its fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.

The Oppo F3 Plus will go on sale starting April 1 priced at Rs. 30,990, which is much higher than its predecessor. Wondering who is going to buy this phone when you get flagship grade smartphones like OnePlus 3T, Honor 8 and Xiaomi Mi 5 at a much cheaper price, while offering better performance.
