NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is the world's fastest gaming GPU

NVIDIA has unveiled its next top of the line GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics at the Game Developers Conference 2017 (GDC 2017), which it touts to be the world's fastest gaming GPU.

The GTX 1080 Ti is manufactured on a FinFET process and has 12 billion transistors delivering a dramatic increase in performance and efficiency, and 3854 NVIDIA CUDA cores and aand a massive 11GB of GDDR5X video RAM running at 11Gbps. The graphics card not only delivers 35 percent more performance than GTX 1080, but is even faster than the $1200 Titan X, that was introduced last year.

The graphics card is 4K VR ready as well and is designed to handle the graphical demands of 4K gaming and deliver unrivaled VR experiences. In addition it also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC HDR and NVIDIA GameWorks for interactive, cinematic experience for a smooth gameplay.

To keep graphics card cool during operation, the GTX 1080 Ti uses a new thermal solution, which NVIDIA describes as "a superior heat dissipation from a new high-airflow thermal solution with vapor chamber cooling, 2x the airflow area a power architecture featuring a seven-phase power design with 14 high-efficiency dualFETs"

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is priced at $699 (Rs. 46,700) and will be available worldwide from March.
