Samsung schedules MWC event for February 26, Galaxy Tab S3 expected


Just yesterday, a report suggested that Samsung would unveil the Galaxy Tab S3 in Barcelona. Now the South Korean tech giant has scheduled, the company's MWC event for February 26 in Barcelona. The teaser in the invite confirms that, Samsung will launch a tablet, which is the Galaxy Tab S3, the successor to Galaxy Tab S2.

Samsung's Galaxy Tab S3 will be a high-end tablet and will be offered in WiFi and LTE variants with model number SM-T820 and SM-T825 respectively.

The tablet is rumored to come with 9.6-inch 2048 x 1536 display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB expandable storage and 12MP/5MP cameras. It will include a fingerprint sensor, which is baked into the home button and ship with Android Nougat.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to carry a starting price of 700,000 won ($605 | Rs. 41,000) and launch in March in home market of South Korea.
