Nokia 3, Nokia 5 budget Android Nougat smartphones announced


Nokia is all set to take the market by storm. HMD Global, the new home for Nokia phone, at MWC, Barcelona, announced Nokia 6 for the Global market. In addition, the company also announced two affordable Android smartphones called Nokia 3 and Nokia 5. Both phones run Android Nougat and comes pre-loaded with Google Assistant.

The Nokia 3 sports a polycarbonate back with an aluminum frame, and comes with 5-inch HD display, quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP front and rear cameras. Ohter features include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, microSD card slot and 2650mAh battery.

The Nokia 5 on the other hand features 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 430 processor with 2GB RAM, Adreno 505 GPU and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It gets 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera. It carries the usual suite of connectivity options and include a 3000mAh battery. It sports metal body.

As far as pricing goes, the Nokia 3 is priced at 139 Euros (Rs. 9,800), while the Nokia 5 costs 189 Euros (Rs. 13,500). They will be available in major market in Q2 2017.
