HP Omen gaming laptops and desktop launched in India

HP is expanding its gaming-focused Omen series in India with the launch of new laptops, a gaming desktop, and accessories like headset, keyboard, mouse and mousepad.

The  HP Omen laptops, called Omen 15 and Omen 17 run Windows 10 and comes with 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch screen sizes respectively with Full HD IPS display. They feature the latest seventh generation Intel Core i7 processors, up to 16GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics. Both also include Bang & Olufsen Audio with Dual Speakers.

The 15-inch Omen gaming laptop has seventh-gen quad-core Intel Core i7-700HQ Kaby Lake processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card  and 1TB HDD/128GB SSD.

The 17-inch Omen on the other hand is VR ready, meaning it is capable of powering HTC's Vive and Oculus' Rift VR headset. It features 7th gen Intel quad-core i7-7700HQ Kaby Lake processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card (6GB GDDR5) and 1TB HDD/256 SDD.

The Omen 870 desktop also features Intel's seventh-generation quad-core i7-770HQ processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card , 16GB DDR4 RAM, and dual 2TB HDD/128GB SDD storage.

The Omen 15 and Omen 17 laptops price start at Rs. 79,990 and Rs. 1,39,990 respectively, while the Omen desktop starts at Rs. 1,39,990.

As for the accessories, the Omen keyboard features 5-zone backligthing capable of 16.8 million colors, one touch combo to program 88 built-in macro keys, as well as anti-ghosting support for 20 keys in the most used gaming areas. The Omen Headset features retractable mic and  3.5mm mobile adapter. The Omen mouse has 1:1 tracking and intelligent RGB illumination, while the mousepad sports a non-slip rubber base.

The Omen keyboard, headset, mouse and mouse pad are priced at Rs. 9,999, Rs. 7,499, Rs. 5,499 and Rs. 2,199 respectively.
