Huawei P10, P10 Plus coming in April or March

Huawei Leica branded dual-camera totting P9 has been one of the best selling smartphone for the company ever, selling over 10 million units (P9 + P9 Plus units) in 2016. It was unveiled in April last year, and made its way to India in August. Interestingly it was the first P series smartphone to launch in the country, but failed to take off, due to high competition in the mid-range market.

Now the company is all set to unveil its next gen flagship, the P10. According to Huawei Chairman and CEO Yu Chengdon, the Huawei P10 and its variant the P10 Plus will be announced in the month of March and April.

For reference, the Huawei P8 and P9 were also launched in April, so the launch time appears to be credible. He also revealed that the Plus variant will come in two variants, the standard with flat screen and a curved display model.

According to rumors, the Huawei P10 specs include Kirin 960 chip, 6GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, Leica branded dual cameras, fingerprint scanner and wireless charging.
