Dual selfie camera toting vivo V5 Plus launched in India


Chinese smartphone maker vivo has officially launched the dual-selfie camera totting V5 Plus in India. The handset has been priced at Rs. 27,980 and is now available to pre-order through retail stores across the country, and will go on sale from February 1.

The V5 Plus comes with dual-selfie cameras featuring 20MP Sony IMX376 and 8MP units with LED flash. The main camera (20MP) clicks regular photographs, whereas the secondary camera (8MP) will capture depth of information and achieve bokeh effect while taking selfies, which means your face will be in focus and background will be blurred.

Coming to the other specs, the V5 Plus runs Android Marshmallow Funtouch OS 3.0 and has 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 display, Snapdragon 625 processor and 64GB storage. There's no microSD card slot. The main camera is a 16MP unit boasting f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, LED flash and supports 4K video recording.

It packs in a 3050mAh battery backed by fast charging technology and supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity. There's also a fingerprint scanner, which is baked into the home button. 

The premium metal body flaunting V5 Plus measures 152.58 x 74 x 7.26mmm weighs 158.6g and will be available in Golden color.
