HMD Global will reportedly launch five Nokia branded Android smartphones in 2017, with one of them expected at MWC in February. While the Nokia D1C has been in news time and time again, a new Nokia phone dubbed E1 surfaced recently in images.

Now a Nokia smartphone carrying model number TA-1000, believed to be the Nokia E1 has passed the China Compulsary Certification (3C).  Very litte is revealed about the specs of the phone. According to the listing Nokia E1 will support 5V/2A standard charging and is LTE ready. The lack of fast charging postions the device as a budget Android smartphone.

Furthermore according to reports, Nokia E1 will be an entry level smartphone and is expected to feature 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 200 series chipset, 1GB RAM and run Android Nougat.

Earlier this week a report claimed that HMD will launch five Nokia smartphones in 2017, one at MWC in late February (most likely the D1C), and the rest during Q2 and Q3 of 2017 with display sizes ranging from 5-inch and 5.7-inch with HD or FHD resolution
