Meizu M5 Note with Helio P10, 4000mAh battery announced


Following the launch of Pro 6 Plus and M3X, Meizu has now unveiled the M5 Note, it latest mid-range Note series smartphone. It sports a metal body and is equipped with mBack fingerprint sensor that is embedded into the home button, which besides unlocking the phone can be used for making payments via Alipay.

The Meizu M5 Note features 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LTPS) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor backed by Mali T860 GPU and 3GB/4G RAM along with 16GB/32GB/64GB storage capacities. The storage is expandable via microSD card.

The camera department includes 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. On the front there's 5MP camera for selfies and video calling. Connectivity duties are handled by hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The phone is fueled by 4000mAh battery and boots Android Marshmallow based Flyme OS 6.0. 

Meizu M5 Note will be available in three variants: 3GB RAM/16GB storage priced at CNY 899 ($130 | Rs. 9,000), 3GB RAM/32GB storage priced at CNY 999 ($145 | Rs. 10,000) and 4GB RAM/64GB storage that costs CNY 1499 ($218 | Rs. 15,000). It will go on China from December 8 in Gray, Silver, Champagne Gold and Blue color.
