OnePlus 3 will get Android 7.0 Nougat beta build this month
The $399 OnePlus 3 is one of the most popular and best smartphone of 2016. The company has also been pushing updates frequently adding new features and quashing bugs, but the most awaited update is of Nougat.
OnePlus has already teased Nougat update for OnePlus 3 and now the company has revealed that OnePlus 3 will get Android 7.0 Nougat beta or community build by the end of this month.
As far as stable Nougat update roll out is concerned, Brian Yoon, OnePlus' head of software told Engadeget that the company will roll out Android Nougat over-the-air (OTA) update to all OnePlus 3 users by end of this year, after all the issues in the OS has been ironed out.
Yoon also confirmed that older device like OnePlus 2 will also get Nougat update as will, but did not reveal a time-frame for the roll out.
Recntly, OnePlus made a surprise announcement that it will launch a new smartphone powered by Snapdragon 821 processor. The phone reportedly called OnePlus 3 will be launched on November 15 and is expected to ship with Android Nougat.
