Asus launches ZenFone 3 Max in India starting at Rs. 12,999


Asus has launched the ZenFone 3 Max in India, its latest mid-range offering that comes in two screen size variants – 5.2-inch (ZC520TL) and 5.5-inch (ZC553KL).

The Asus ZenFone 3 Max sports a metal unibody design with chamfered edges and a fingerprint scanner at the back located below the main camera. Both variants run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Zen UI 3.0 on top  and packs in a beefy 4100mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 20 hours of talk time and up to 38 days of standby time

The ZenFone 3 Max ZC520TL has 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with Mali T720 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, Hybrid dual-SIM slots, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front camera and support for 4G LTE and expandable storage.

The ZenFone 3 Max ZC553KL has a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5 curved glass display, octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor w/ Adreno 505 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. It also supports 4G LTE and expandable storage, and for photography includes 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 8MP front camera.

Coming to the pricing, the 5.2-inch ZenFone 3 Max is priced at Rs. 12,999 and is available for purchase starting today, while the top 5.5-inch model costs Rs. 17,999 and will go on sale by end of this month.

  1. The Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) phone comes with a 4G with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India. The smartphone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
