Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with curved display to be launched on October 25


Xiaomi today announced that it is hosting an event on October 25 to unveil its latest flagship, and successor of the the Mi Note, the Mi Note 2.

The Mi Note 2 will have a curved display similar to Samsung's Galaxy edge series, along with high end specs like Snapdragon 821 SoC, 6GB RAM, fingerprint scanner and dual-rear cameras.

According to rumors, there will be two versions of Mi Note 2: the standard and Pro version. The standard version Mi Note 2 will have 5.7-inch Full HD display, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 12MP dual-rear cameras and 4000mAh battery. The Pro version will also feature 5.7-inch display but have QHD (2K) display, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Earlier this month Xiaomi CEL Lei Jun said that the Mi Note 2 will come with  a surprise, so it will be interesting to see what surprise Xiaomi has in store for us on October 25. The event takes place at Peking University Gymnasium.
