Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro listed online ahead of official unveiling

Samsung is all set to unveil it latest China exclusive Galaxy C series smartphone dubbed Galaxy C9 Pro later today. Just hours before the unveiling Chinese major online retailer T-Mall has listed the Galaxy C9 Pro revealing product shots, specifications and pricing.

The Galaxy C9 Pro will be Samsung's first smartphone to pack 6GB of RAM, however, it will be a mid-ranger. 

The C9 Pro will feature metal unibody design, 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor, 64GB expandable storage, 16MP front and rear cameras, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, dual-SIMs, NFC and USB Type-C. It will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and backed by a 4000mAh battery.

The Galaxy C9 Pro will come in Gold and Rose Gold colors and carry a price tag of CNY 3199 ($470 | Rs. 31,000).

With the Galaxy C9 Pro, Samsung is trying to strengthen its budget offering after the failure of Galaxy Note7. The smartpone will be competing with the likes of LeEco Le Pro 3, Xiaomi Mi 5s, Oppo R9s Plus, OnePlus 3 and other devices featuring 6GB RAM in the Chinese market.
