nubia Z11 miniS with Snapdragon 625 processor, 23MP camera announced


This year, ZTE's sub-brand nubia announced various versions of its Z11 flagship including Z11, Z11 Max and Z11 mini. Now nubia has unveiled an upgraded version of Z11 mini dubbed Z11 miniS in China. 

Most of the specs of nubia Z11 miniS has received a major upgrade, but it still runs Android Marshmallow based nubia UI 4.0 and has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

The nubia Z11 miniS 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D Gorilla Glass display and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor backed by Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB RAM, along with 64GB/128GB storage, further expandable via microSD card slot.

The camera department is handled by 23MP Sony IMX318 rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. For selfies and video calling there's a 13MP Sony IMX258 front camera. Connectivity duties are handled by hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual band, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS+GLONASS and USB Type-C. It is backed by 3000mAh battery.

The handset sports metal unibody design that measures 7.60mm round the waist and weighs just 158g. It comes in Gold, Silver and Black colors.

Surprisingly, even with major upgrades, the nubia Z11 miniS is priced similar to nubia Z11 mini. The 64GB nubia Z11 miniS is priced at CNY 1499 ($222 | Rs. 15,000), while the 128GB version costs CNY 1899 ($280 | Rs. 19,000). It is now available for order in ZTE nubia's home market China and will go on sale starting October 25.
