Moto G4 Play launched in India for Rs. 8,999


As expected Motorola (a Lenovo company) has launched the budget Moto G Play in India. The phone has been priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available exclusively from Amazon India starting today at 10pm.

The Moto G4 Play will sit below the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus, which were launched in India in Q2 for Rs. 13,499 and Rs. 12,499 accordingly. The Moto G 4 Play, has the same design language as the Moto G4/G4 Plus including the water repellent nano-coated body, but the specs have been toned down.

The Moto G4 Play has 5-inch HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera dual SIM slots, 4G LTE and 2800mAh battery. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The phone supports Turbo Power fast charging via the bundled10W rapid charger that offer five hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charge.
