Lava X28 with 5.5-inch display, 4G LTE launched for Rs. 7,349

Lava has launched a new 4G enabled budget smartphone dubbed X28 running Android Marshmallow. One of the advantage of the phone is that it is eligible for Jio's Welcome offer, which gives you unlimited browsing, calls, video calls and SMS till December 31.

The Lava X28 comes with 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor, with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

It gets 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera, accompanied by LED flash as well. For connectivity, there's 4G LTE, Dual-SIM slots, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG support. A 2600mAh battery keeps the lights on.

The phone also boasts features like auto call recording, flip to mute, smart gestures, 12 Indian languages support, Time lapse video and slow motion video.

The Lava X28 is listed on the company website for Rs. 7,349 and will go on sale soon. It comes in Gold, Silver and Coffee colors.
