Xiaomi Redmi 4, Redmi Note 4 gets certified by China's TENAA


Just a day ago the, Redmi 4 surfaced online in live photos, and now the phone has been certified by China's TENAA. A Xiaomi phone with number 2016060 has been listed on the certification website without any images, but the specs listed are in line with earlier leaks.

According to TENAA, the Redmi 4 has 1080p display, Snapdragon 625 processor w/ Adreno 506 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The camera department will be handled by a 13-megapixel unit on the back and 5-megapixel unit on the front, similar to Redmi 3/3S.

It will support the usual connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, infrared sensor and GPS. The phone will run MIUI 8 based on Marshmallow and boast fingerprint scanner and 4000mAh battery.

In addition another Xiaomi device with number 2016050 has also been listed on TENAA, without any images, which is suspected to be the Redmi Note 4.

As per listing, the Redmi Note 4 will have 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek's Helio X20 or X25 processor, 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, 4000mAh battery, MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow and 4G LTE.

If reports are to be believed, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 or Redmi Note 4 will be launched on August 25.
