Meizu U10, U20 with YunOS announced


Meizu recently introduced the Helio P10 powered M1E smartphone running Alibaba's Android based YunOS. Now the Chinese smartphone maker has announced a pair of smartphone belonging to Blue Charm series dubbed U10 and U20 in China running Yun OS as well.

Both phones sport metal frames with Glass on both sides and has fingerprint scanner embedded into the mTouch 2.1 home button. They also have Hybrid dual-SIM slots, which means you can use the second slot either as SIM slot or microSD card.

The Meizu U10 features 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, octa-core processor, 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 5-megapixel front camera, 4G LTE and a 2760mAh battery.

The Meizu U20 comes with a bigger 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE and 3260mAh battery.

Both the Meizu U10 and U20 will come in two variants – 2GB RAM w/ 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

The Meizu U10 2GB RAM/16GB storage model is priced at CNY 999 ($150 | Rs. 10,000) and the 3GB RAM/32GB storage is priced CNY 1199 ($180 | Rs. 12,090). The Meizu M20 2GB RAM/16GB storage model is priced at CNY 1099 ($165 | Rs. 11,000), while the 3GB RAM/32GB storage model will cost CNY 1299 ($195 | Rs. 13,000). The Meizu U10 will be available in China from September 18 and the U20 will be available starting August 28.
