GOQii's new fitness band offers services like doctor and contactless payment


GOQii has announced a new fitness band dubbed GOQii band 2.0 in India. The fitness band sports a sleek design and comes with a host of fitness tracking features like distance traveled, steps taken and more.

GOQii band 2.0 has an OLED touch display and comes with an integrated charger that can be plugged to any standard USB port to charge. It features auto sleep which automatically toggles between sleep and active modes. In addition to fitness tracking, the band will also display notification for calls, SMS, Whatsapp, emails, alarms and inactivity alerts.

The fitness band supports NFC for contactless payments, powered by Axis Bank. It is rated to deliver up to 14 days of battery life, on a single charge.

Additionally, GOQii also announced new features for the Goqii app which will integrate doctors and diagnostics to its ecosystems. To offer improved health ecosystem and new services, GOQii has teamed up with Thyrocare and Max Healthcare.

Now you will be able to consult a doctor based on your fitness and can also ask opinions for changing your lifestyle. In case, doctor recommends you for a diagnostics test, users will be able to make an appointment via Thyrocare. Moreover, the app also lets you to book appointment with any doctor at Max hospitals for a detailed analysis. The new version of the app will be available on August 5 on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

GOQii also slashed the price of its service to Rs. 1,999 for three months, Rs. 2,999 for six months, and Rs. 3,999 for 12 months.
