Sony's next flagship leaked, shows off new design, dual-LED flash, USB Type-C

The Sony Xperia X and Xperia XA went on sale in India and other countries recently, and now it appears that the company has one more flagship product in the line. GSMArena has shared some of the images of the upcoming flagship, which for the moment is called by its model number Xperia F8331.

As per the images, the Xperia F8331 will have a new design. It has curved sides and is flat on the top and bottom. The rear camera which is accompanied by a dual-LED flash has a changed layout. On the bottom, Sony has opted for USB Type-C in favor of USB port for charging and data transfer, however the 3.5mm headphone jack is still there. On the front there is an NFC antenna and stereo speakers. The fingerprint scanner is not seen on the front or back, so it is likely to be placed on the right side.

Recently, the Xperia F8331 was spotted on GFXBench. As per the listing, the specs include 5.1-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 21MP rear camera (w/ dual-tone LED flash), 13MP front camera, 4G LTE and Android Marshmallow. Both front and rear camera will be capable of recording 4K videos.

There is no information as to when Sony will unveil the Xperia F8331, but it is most likely to be announced during IFA trade show in Berlin.
