Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro, Galaxy On7 Pro launched in India


Samsung is aggressively updating its smartphone line up in India. After Galaxy J2 2016 and J Max, Samsung has now launched the Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro in the country. The latest 'On' series offerings run Android 6.0 Marshmallow, supports 4G LTE w/ VoLTE and features Ultra Saving Mode (UDS) and S Bike mode.

The Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro comes with 5-inch HD (1289 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor backed by Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB storage, which can be increased via microSD card (up to 128GB).

For photography, it gets 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and can record 1080p videos. There's 5-megapixel front facing camera for video calling and snapping selfies. The dual-SIM phone supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS + GLONASS. It is fueled by 2600mAh battery.

The Galaxy On7 Pro on the other hand has a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is equipped with 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC w/ Adreno 306 GPU, 13-megapixel rear camera w/ LED flash, 5-megapixel front camera and a 3000mAh battery. The RAM, storage, and connectivity options are same as Galaxy On5 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro and On7 Pro are priced at Rs. 9,190 and Rs. 11,190 and will be exclusively available from Amazon India in Black or Gold color options. As part of introductory offer the phone comes bundled with with a holiday offer from Thomas Cook worth Rs. 6,000 for bookings done before August 31, and 2GB data + 200 Mins+ 200 SMS at Rs. 343 per month or 3GB data+ 300 Mins+ 300 SMS at Rs. 494 per month for 12 months/recharges for Idea prepaid users.
