HP Elite x3 with Windows 10 Mobile price starts at $699


HP announced the Elite x3, the most powerful Windows 10 Mobile phone to date at this year's MWC, and now the company has revealed details about its pricing and availability.

The HP Elite X3 will carry a price tag of $699 in the U.S and EUR 699 in the EU, and will be available later this month. The Elite x3 will also be part of a bundle that includes a premium headset and HP Elite x3 Desk Dock, and will cost $799. The bundle is expected to be available from August 29 in the U.S.

There's another bundle that includes the HP Elite x3, HP Elite x3 Desk Dock, and HP Elite x3 Lap Dock and will be available at a later date. The pricing is not known.

In addition to U.S, the HP Elite x3 will launch in 47 countries including India later this summer: Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India and Japan.

There is no word on the date of availability for each of these countries. It will be available in single SIM or dual SIM variant depending on market.

Desk Dock
Using the Desk Dock you can connect the Elite x3 to an external display using Continuum for a full fledged PC experience. The Desk Dock houses a DisplayPort, 2 x USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port and RJ-45 Ethernet port.

Lap Dock
It looks like a laptop and has a 12.5-inch 1080p display, a battery and keyboard, but does not have a processor, memory or storage, instead it requires the Elite x3 for the processing power. You can connect the Elite x3 to the Mobile Extender with a USB Type-C or through wireless connection.
