Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe with Snapdragon 821 SoC, 6GB RAM, 256GB storage announced

Asus at this year's Computex unveiled its new ZenFone 3 line up with ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Ultra. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe was the flagship product with top end offerings like Snapdragon 820 SoC, and 6GB RAM. Now Asus has updated its ZenFone 3 series with an upgraded ZenFone 3 Deluxe model that comes with a new powerful SoC and more storage.

The new ZenFone 3 Deluxe will be the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 821 SoC, which is touted to offer 10 percent faster performance than Snapdragon 820. It packs 6GB RAM and comes with 256GB of native storage. The rest of the specs are similar to the original model.

The new ZenFone 3 Deluxe comes with 5.7-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is equipped with 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS and Laser auto-focus. On the front, it gets 8-megapixel camera. Other features include Hybrid dual-SIM slot, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE w/ VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB 3.0 Type-C.

The top-of-the-line Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe with Snapdragon 821 SoC / 6GB RAM/ 256 storage is priced at $775/Rs. 52,000. It will be available for purchase later this year. Asus also revealed the pricing of other ZenFone 3 Deluxe models:
