Asus ZenFone Pegasus 3 with 5.2-inch display, 3GB RAM, Android Marshmallow announced


Asus after launching the ZenFone 3 family last month has now updated its Pegasus line up with the launch of ZenFone Pegasus 3 in China. The phone sports an 8.5mm metal body and has a fingerprint scanner at the back. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Asus ZenFone Pegasus 3 sports a 5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core processor MT6737 with Mali T720 MP2 GPU. It comes in two variants — 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage — with microSD card support. 

For photography, there's 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5P lens, f/2.2 aperture and 5-megapixel front facing camera. The dual-SIM phone supports 4G LTE (w/ VoLTE), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is fueled by 4100mAh battery. 

The Asus ZenFone Pegasus 3 is priced at CNY 1299 ($200 | Rs. 13,000) for the 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant, and CNY 1499 ($230 | Rs. 15,000) for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage model. The phone comes in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver and Gray colors, and will go on sale in China soon via Asus online store.
