Micromax launches 6-inch Canvas Mega 2, a phablet for Rs. 7,999


Micromax has launched a new budged 4G LTE smartphone dubbed Canvas Mega 2 in India. The phone is aimed at youth and cricket lovers, who are on the go and require devices with bigger screen for media consumption and playing games. 

The Micromax Canvas Mega 2 features a phablet sized 6-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be increased via microSD card.

For photography, it gets 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is backed by 3000mAh battery.

Priced at Rs. 7,999, the Micromax Canvas Mega 2 comes in Black color and sits in the Value for Money (VFM) category. It will be available from online and offline channel across the country soon.
