Coolpad Max launched in India for Rs. 24,999


China-based Coolpad after launching the Note 3 Lite and Note 3 Plus earlier this year in India, has now launched Coolpad Max, the company's latest flagship in the country.

The main highlight of the phone is the Dual Spaces, that consists of an external system and a separate encrypted internal system, where your calls and texts are encrypted for added security and privacy. Due to the dual space management system you can install two WhatsApp, Facebook or other social apps, one in each space. The private space of the phone can also be hidden or protected with password.

The Coolpad Max sports a premium metal unibody design and has a fingerprint scanner at the back that can be used as App Shortcut, Quick Capture, One Key Dial, Switch Space and more. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Cool UI 8.0 on top and houses Hybrid dual-SIM slots, which means the second slim slot can either accept nano SIM card or microSD card.

As for the specs, the Coolpad Max comes with 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 proetction, and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC, backed by Adreno 405 GPU and 4GB RAM. On-baord storage is 64GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card.

For photography, it gets 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, ISOCELL CMOS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lenses and PDAF. The selfie camera is 5-megapixel. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fuled by 2800mAh battery and supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.

The Coolpad Max is priced at Rs. 24,999 and will be exclusively available from Amazon India starting May 30. It comes in Gold and Rose Gold colors.
