Amkette Evo Gamepad Pro 2 game controller for Android devices launched at Rs. 2,899

Amkette launched the Evo Gamepad Pro last year in August and now the Indian electronics company has launched its successor, the Evo Gamepad Pro 2, a Bluetooth game controller for Android smartphones and tablets. The new gamepad comes with an improved clam spring for facilitating easy docking of your smartphone.

The Evo Gamepad Pro 2  has an improved trigger, bumper and control buttons to deliver an enhanced user experience. It has two bumper buttons, two analog sticks and two analog triggers. There is also multimedia buttons for controlling the volume while playing games, and a new button that easily lets you switch between mouse and gamepad.

It features a new sleep mode, that turns off the device after eight minutes, when not in use for preventing battery drain The gamepad connects to Android devices via Bluetooth 4.0, and has a range of 10 metres. It is fueled by 400mAh rechargeable battery.

Amkette said that the the Evo Gamepad app has been loaded with several more games, taking the total count from 350 to above 400 games.

The Amkette Evo Gamepad Pro 2 is priced at Rs. 2,899 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India.
