Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro with built-in 70-inch beam projector announced

Along with the new Yoga Tab 3 variants, Lenovo also announced the Yoga Tab 3 Pro at IFA 2015 in Berlin. It comes with the  multifunctional bottom-positioned handle-like kickstand. The main highlight of the tablet is its built-in 70-inch projector and its sound bar with four speakers, tuned by Wolfson and capable of offering Dolby Atmos experience. 

The tablet flaunts a better optimized projector placement and is now 180-degree rotatable to beam life-sized images onto a wall or ceiling and project significantly brighter and cinematic pictures up to 70" wide. It comes pre-loaded with Netflix app to deliver personalized recommendations and contents, right from the home screen in high-quality optimized HD. It also features Dolby Audio - Dolby Digital Plus, which Netflix streams with its HD content.

As for the hardware specs, Yoga Tab 3 Pro features 10-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1600 pixels) display with Smart Display technology. Inside there is an 2.24GHz quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

For imaging, there is 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera and 5-megapixel front fixed focus shooter. On the connectivity front, it supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE (FDD and TDD), WiFi 802.11b/g/n (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS. It is fueled by a massive 10200mAh battery which offers up to 18 hours of usage on a single charge.

The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is expected to hit stores in the US in November with a retail price of $499.
