LG's luxury Android Wear 'Watch Urbane' launched in India for Rs. 30,000
LG's luxury Android Wear smartwatch Watch Urbane has been launched in India. It was initially announced in February before MWC 2015 and was also listed on Amzon India for Rs. 29,990 yesterday.
The LG Watch Urbane features 1.3-inch P-OLED display (320x320 pixels) with narrower bezel, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB eMMC, dust and water resistant (IP67), 410mAh battery, the usual suite of sensors and a Heart rate sensor. It runs Android Wear (recently got updated to Android Wear 5.1.1)
Watch Urbane has a stainless steel body complemented by stitched natural leather strap. The Smartwatch will be available in Silver and Gold finishes with 22mm leather strap, which can be swipped with any strap to suit the occasion. It also feature an Ambient mode that displays time all time in dimmed mode, resulting in battery savings.
The LG Watch Urbane connects to your phone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Users can get notification, listen to music and track activities even when the phone isn't near. It comes with two useful features - LG Call and LG Pulse. LG Call allows the wearer to access re-cent calls and favorite contact list on the connected smartphone to dial directly from the watch. When connected to a Bluetooth headset, there is no need to remove the phone from the pocket to make a call. With LG Pulse, the watch measures the wearer's heart rate every second during exercise with no maximum time limit. After finishing the activity, LG Pulse reports the average heart rate over the entire duration of the activity and display a heart rate graph on LG Health (coming soon)
The LG Watch Urbane comes with a price tag of Rs. 30,000.
