LeEco Le 1s Eco with Supertainment package launched at Rs. 10,899

LeEco alongside launching its content ecosystem in India, also announced a new variant of Le 1s dubbed Le 1s Eco, targeted at Indian audience with the focus of promoting LeEco's ecosystem services.

The phone is part of LeEco's 'Make in India' program and comes bundeled with a free one-year subscription to LeEco Membership, which costs Rs. 4,900. The bundle is called 'Supertainment package'. In addition the handset supports 10 Indian languages including Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali, Malayalam, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi and Odia. The specs and design of the Le 1s Eco will be identical to the standard model.

The LeEco Le 1s Eco comes with 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display and is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 SoC with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The camera department gets 13MP rear camera w/ LED flash and 5MP front camera. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, and Infrared sensor. It is backed by 3000mAh battery, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with EUI on top, includes a fingerprint scanner at the back and is encased in a metal unibody with matte finish on the edges.

The LeEco Le 1s Eco (w/ one year LeEco Membership) is priced at Rs. 10,899, but will be available at a special introductary price of Rs. 9,999 in its first flash sale on May 12 2pm via Flipkart. LeEco says that 100,00 units will be offered in the first flash sale. The registrations for the sale are now open.

LeEco also announced that it has 550 service centres in India and 24 x 7 live chat in eight different languages. It plans to increase its customer services bases as it operation expands in the country.
