Intex Aqua Secure with fingerprint scanner, VoLTE launched for Rs. 6,499


Intex has launched Aqua Secure, its first smartphone to come with a fingerprint scanner. The phone's fingerprint scanner is located at the back below the main comes, and apart from unlocking the phone, can also be used to capture selfies and securely access Gallery.

As for the specs, the Intex Aqua Secure has a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is powered by1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor further aided by Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, with microSD card support (up to 32GB).

It gets 5-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and support 4G LTE (w/ VoLTE support), 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB Type-C connectivity. It is fueled by 1900mAh battery.

The Aqua Secure comes with Matrabasha service (enables communication in 21 regional languages) and HotKnot, a NFC-type feature from MediaTek that lets you share contents by bring the phone's screen closer to other phone. It also has Opera Max data saving app pre-installed as well.

The Intex Aqua Secure is priced at Rs. 6,499 and will be available via retail stores and e-commerce portals across the country soon. It has a matte finish back cover and comes in Gold and Grey colors.
