Gionee launches P5L with 4G LTE w/ VoLTE support in India for Rs. 8,499


The Gionee P5L smartphone was introduced in India in November 2014 with 4.7-inch display, 8GB storage, 5MP rear & 2MP front camera, 1800mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat,  but never hit the store. 

However now, the company has launched the P5L in India with upgraded specs including 4G LTE w/ VoLTE support and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Amigo 3.0 UI on top.

The Gionee P5L features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek processor coupled 1GB RAM. The phone comes with 16GB inbuilt storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.

Camera-wise it gets a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera. Connectivity features include dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and A-GPS. It is backed by 2300mAh battery, which promises nine hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time.

The Gionee P5L is priced at Rs. 8,499 and can be purchased from the company website. It comes in multiple color options including Red, White, Black, Blue, Yellow and Gold colors.
