Asus launches new lineup of ROG gaming laptops in India, prices start at Rs. 82,490

Asus has launched four new ROG (Republic of Gamers) series laptops in India - ROG G752VY, ROG GL552VW, ROG G551VW, and the ROG G501VW. The new ROG gaming  laptops from Asus run Windows 10 and are powered by sixth gen Intel Skylake Core i7 processor, and are equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GTX900 series GPUs for an immersive gaming experience.

The Asus ROG G752VY (seen above) sports a revolutionary design with a Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper color finish. It features a 17.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and has support for up to 64GB RAM and 2TB HDD (5400rpm). The graphics is handled by NVIDIA GTX 980m GPU. It comes with an 720p webcam, backlit anti-ghosting gaming keyboard, and Asus exclusive 3D Vapor Chamber for increased cooling. It is backed by 6000mAh battery.

The Asus ROG G501VW comes with 15.6-inch IPS display with support for up to 4K or UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution, NVIDIA GTX960M GPU, support for up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. It also features a 720p webcam and the audio is powered by SonicMaster and ROG AudioWizard technology.

The Asus ROG G551VW also offers high-performance and comes with silent cooling system. It feature 15.6-inch 4K IPS display, NVIDIA GTX960M GPU w/ 4GB graphics memory, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD along with 128GB SSD, ASUS SonicMaster and ROG AudioWizard for enhanced audio output.

Lastly, the ROG GL552VW, as per the company "is targeted at users who desire powerful notebooks with high performance gaming grade hardware in a stylish and compact package.". It features 15.6-inch 1080p IPS display, NVIDIA GTX 960M GPU, and supports up to 32GB RAM, and 1TB HDD along with 128GB SSD.

Coming to the prices the Asus ROG GL552VW is the most affordable of the lot priced at Rs. 82,490, and the most expensive model is the ROG G752VY pricest at Rs. 1,79,990. The ROG G501VW and G551VW are priced at Rs. 95,490 and Rs. 1,00,490 accordingly. The laptops will be available via online and offline stores in the coming days.
