Samsung has launched its latest 4G budget smartphone, the Galaxy J3 2016 in India, targeted at bikers.

The Galaxy J3 2016 comes with S Bike mode for a distraction-free ride. Before riding, you can set the phone to Do Not Disturb Mode, which turns off all notifications except for important calls. If someone calls the rider, a pre-recorded message will be sent to the caller that the person is currently riding bike. The S Bike mode also has a motion sensing feature to ensure that the rider does not pick up the phone without stopping the bike.

Spec-wise the Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 64-bit processor aided by Mali 400 GPU and 1.5GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

For photography, there is 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and USB OTG. It is backed by 2600mAh battery and also comes with Samsung's proprietary ultra data saving mode powered by Opera Max that compresses cellular data across all contents.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 is priced at Rs. 8,990 and will be exclusively available on Snapdeal starting today. It comes bundled with double date offer for Vodafone 4G subscribers for 6 months and 2 months for 3G customers on data pack of 1GB and above.
