Huawei Honor Band Z1 fitness tracker launched in India for Rs 5,499


In addition to the Honor 7 smartphone, Huawei also launched its smart fitness tracker, the Honor Band Z1 in India.

Honor Band Zero sports a circular design 1.06-inch OLED (128 x 128 pixels) touch screen display encased in a metallic bezel with brushed metal-finish. Inside there is a Cortex M4 STM32F411 chip made by STMicroelectronics, clubbed with 128kb RAM.

It is IP68 certified making it dust-proof and water resistant. The device displays message notification and incoming call alerts, and allows you to mute incoming calls without having to touch your smartphone. It also acts as sleep tracker and has pedeometer for tracking steps, calories burnt and other fitness stats. It also features an alarm function. It works with Android and iOS devices.

It is equipped with a 70mAh battery that can last up to four days of usage and up to 14 days of standby. Using the magnetic charging dock, the device can be fully charged in 1.5 hours or can be charged for 10 minutes for a full day use.

Priced at Rs. 5,499, Huawei Band Zero
has textured rubber strap and comes in Black, Beige, White color band options. It will go on sale in the country by the end of this month.
